The 2009 Brass Band Championships of NZ are to be held in Napier from 15-19 April. The web page link for the organising committee's arrangements is http://www.championbrass.org.nz.

Pelorus Trust Wellington Brass Band will be competing in the A-grade for the first time in a long time. The A-grade test piece is Philip Wilby's "Paganini Variations".
